BY SOCIOLOGICAL METHODS: CONTENT AND FORMAT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Annotation.<\/em><\/strong> <em>The article discusses the current issues of public trust in sociological methods of studying public opinion. The authors examine various terms, including \u00abpublic opinion\u00bb, \u00abcontent\u00bb, \u00abformat\u00bb, and \u00abmethods of sociological research\u00bb, and analyze the respondents&#8217; attitudes towards these concepts in terms of how they reflect the opinions, judgments, and ideas of the population, as well as their reactions to pressing issues of the day. The article presents the results of a sociological study on the level of awareness about public opinion and the confidence in the reliability of sociological research data. Based on the analysis of the respondents&#8217; answers, conclusions were drawn and recommendations were made to increase the level of trust in the results of sociological studies of public
