INFLUENCE THE ENERGY AND TECHNOLOGICAL SOVEREIGNTY AND DEBT DEPENDENCY OF IMPORTING COUNTRIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Annotation.<\/em><\/strong><em> When a country orders the construction of a nuclear power plant abroad, it often becomes dependent on the supplier, often for decades. The article shows how this works. It discusses three main options, such as BOO, BOT, and targeted loans. It explains how the supplier maintains control through fuel, patents, licenses, and service contracts. Using the examples of Turkey, Kazakhstan, and South Korea, the article demonstrates how each model creates a different type of dependence, such as loss of control, debt dependence, or the use of other people&#8217;s patents for their own development.
