PETROVSKY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Annotation.<\/em><\/strong><em> This article analyzes the development of environmental law research at the Faculty of Law of Bryansk State University. The author examines the relationship between environmental law research and the teaching of various related academic disciplines. The article traces the development of research in both the environmental protection component of environmental law and its natural resource component. Particular attention is paid to research in the field of land law, including the search for a balance between public interests in land use and protection and the private interests of
