PARTNER<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Annotation.<\/em><\/strong><em> The article deals with topical issues related to the fundamental social institution. The authors explore the family as a system-forming unit of the state, on which much depends in modern society. The sociological concepts of various scientists on what value orientations of youth exist when choosing a life partner are considered. The article presents various points of view on family and marriage issues. The criteria by which modern youth chooses a marriage partner are considered.
