A UNIVERSAL CULTURE AND ITS IMPACT ON YOUNG PEOPLE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Annotation.<\/em><\/strong><em> The article deals with the problems included in the scientific field of the sociology of culture. These issues contribute to the consideration of the role of digitalization in the modern world and its impact not only on society as a whole, but, in particular, on such a socio-demographic group as youth. VTSIOM data on the impact of digitalization on the younger generation were analyzed, various aspects of this influence were considered and conclusions were drawn. The positive and negative sides of this phenomenon are also highlighted. With the development of Internet communications, one should not forget about the emergence of such a thing as Internet addiction, which is given much attention in the work as \u00abdiseases of the XXI century\u00bb.
