PROCEEDINGS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Annotation.<\/em><\/strong><em> This article reveals the relevance and significance of the personal\u2019s bankruptcy institution. Statistical indicators of both judicial and extrajudicial citizens\u2019 bankruptcy procedures for the period from the beginning of the rules on the individuals\u2019 insolvency to September 2022 are given. The criterion of &#171;good faith&#187; of a citizen&#8217;s behavior during the bankruptcy procedure and for the period preceding the appeal to the arbitration court is evaluated, indicating the position of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation. The grounds for non-application to an unscrupulous debtor-citizen of the rules on exemption from the performance of subsequent obligations to creditors upon completion of the bankruptcy procedure are
