OF DIGITALIZATION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Annotation.<\/strong> The article presents the issues of new formations of the electric power industry in the conditions of digitalization, which has its own idea for each specialist in different ways. The discussion on this issue takes into account such factors that have an impact on public consciousness. The conditions bearing a direct connection in the present with physics, the energy system under consideration and the laws of its activity remain outside the field of its discussion. The basic rules for the construction of electric power systems were described in the article, under which, the formation of energy innovations in the conditions of uncontrolled development of the Internet of Things looks preferable. Of particular importance is the consideration of the energy system as an association of self-balancing nodes (large, medium, small).<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Key words: <\/strong>self-balancing,
