FORMAT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Annotation.<\/strong><\/em><em><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><em>The article discusses the current issues of the emergence and causes of alcoholism as an im<\/em><em>portant problem of modern society. The content and format of management activities aimed at eliminating alcoholism and its consequences are shown. The article presents a historical digression, showing the social causes of this negative social phenomenon. T<\/em><em>he authors also conducted a sociological study among students on attitudes to alcoholism and its impact on people, as well as on the causes of alcohol dependence. The conclusions of the sociological study confirmed the theoretical provisions of the article<\/em><em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Key words:<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<em>sociological research, content,
