RESEARCH: THE INFLUENCE OF TELEGRAM CHANNELS ON PUBLIC OPINION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Annotation.<\/strong><\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em><em>In the era of wide<\/em><em>spread digitalization, telegram channels are of particular importance in the light of their impact on public opinion, as discussed in this article. The relevance of the sociological research, the purpose of which is to identify respondents&#8217; opinions about <\/em><em>the degree of impact of social networks on the recipient, is beyond doubt. In the era of widespread digitalization, the Internet is becoming the main source of information for many users, so it is important to understand whether the impact of social networ<\/em><em>ks on people is negative or positive. If negative consequences are detected, it is necessary to develop measures to eliminate the risks that the widespread spread of informatization entails. The authors conducted a sociological study in order to consider t<\/em><em>he problems associated with the influence of telegram channels on Internet users. The article shows why this particular means of information dissemination is attractive, and also demonstrates that telegram channels are a way of manipulating public
