A.M.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MANAGEMENT OF THE ORGANIZATION&#8217;S ACTIVITIES: THE STUDY OF SOCIOLOGICAL METHODS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Annotation.<\/em><\/strong><em> The article deals with topical issues of managing the activities of an organization such as a student dormitory. The authors pose the problem that the majority of dormitories provided by Russian universities do not meet the requirements of modernity. Students face various problems in both social and domestic spheres. The authors show that, among other things, this state of affairs is associated with poor-quality implementation of the management process. The head of any organization, any institution assumes responsibility for the high-quality performance of the powers assigned to him. Improper performance of one&#8217;s duties in managing a student dormitory can lead to a number of serious problems. The article discusses those sociological methods that allow us to study the managerial aspect of the organization&#8217;s activities \u2013 student dormitories.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Key words:
